Current Local Virgin Islands Collaborators
Above is a video I created summarizing the research we conducted pre- and post-Hurricanes Irma, Jose, and Maria in 2017, published in Scientific Reports.
I have been researching sediment transport in St. John, US Virgin Islands for 13 years.
I have conducted field research in coastal waterways from New York to Florida and on land in Illinois, Texas, Ohio, and Florida.
Currently, I investigate land use change throughout the tropics. I use field data combined with geospatial analysis (GIS) to create tools that can be easily understood and utilized both in and out of science. I place great emphasis on the dissemination of my research to the community where the research can be actively used.
Shown below are some photos from various field expeditions.
